Jerry Aldridge

Jerry Lee Aldridge Sr. 73 of Albemarle died Thursday Afternoon, July 13, 2023 at his home.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mike Lisk will officiate. Interment will follow in Concord United Methodist Church Cemetery with military honors. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Saturday Evening at the funeral home.

Jerry was born November 19, 1949 in Anson County to the late Raymond and Lillie Gibson Aldridge. He was a member of Cedar Hill United Methodist Church and was a US Army Veteran of the Vietnam War. He was a retiree of Stanly Fixtures.

He is survived by his wife Carrie Mae Kimrey Aldridge of the home. Two sons, Jerry Lee Aldridge Jr and wife Angie of Norwood and James Franklin (Pooh) Aldridge and wife Tanya of Albemarle. One daughter, Tammy Teresa Wilhem and husband Mike of Kannapolis. One sister, Loyce Aldridge Smith of Troy. Thirteen Grandchildren and Thirteen  Great-Grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his brothers and sister. James Franklin Aldridge, Homer Aldridge and Catherine Aldridge Lisenby.
