Janice Hathcock Poulton, 76, of Mint Hill, passed away Thursday, April 10, 2025.
A graveside service will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at Mt. Zion Methodist Church Cemetery, with Rev. David Hatley officiating. The family will receive friends after the service in the church fellowship hall.
Mrs. Poulton was born on October 9, 1948 in Stanly County, to the late Julius and Glennie Lowder Hathcock. She was a retired Life insurance claim specialist and was a member at Mt. Zion Methodist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her siblings, Tommy Hathcock, Jennings Hathcock, and Buna Hathcock.
She is survived by her loving husband, Tom Poulton of the home; daughter: Jennifer Edens (Chris) of Memphis, TN; son Dan Poulton (Leny) of San Marcos, CA; three grandchildren: Riley Edens, Elizabeth Poulton, and Ethan Poulton; and siblings: Eddie Hathcock (Carolyn), Eleanor Guthrie(Barry), and Linda Logan.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Zion Methodist Church .
