Janice Jones

Janice Marie Parker Jones, 87, of Albemarle, passed peacefully from this life on the afternoon of September 14, 2024 at Stanly Manor.

Born April 17, 1937 in Stanly County, she was the daughter of the late Lawrence Eugene Parker and the late Georgia Evelyn Parker. She was also preceded in death by her brothers Ronald, Bob, and Gerald Parker, and sisters Hazel Parker Hurt and Colleen Parker Sides.

Janice worked in insurance for many years. In her spare time she loved caring for her flowers at home. She was also incredibly gifted artistically in painting, woodwork, and sewing soft dolls.

Janice is survived by her daughter Jennifer Marie Jones, son Christopher Wayne Jones (Angie), and granddaughter Hanna Marie Jones.
