Janice Brown

Janice Brown, 77, of Norwood passed away Wednesday, December 25, 2024 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00pm, Sunday, December 29, 2024 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel in Norwood.  Rev. Jim Yow will officiate. Burial will follow in Plyler Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.  

Janice was born May 1, 1947 in Davidson County to the late Lawrence and Dorothy Creakman Beck.  She was a member of Plyler Baptist Church.  Janice enjoyed traveling with her family and loved watching western movies on television.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Clarence Allen Brown; brother, Teddie Beck.

She is survived by her daughter, Allison Mendy Mabry(Roger) of Norwood; three granddaughters, Raegan, Claire and Alyssa Mabry; brother, Michael Beck of Bluefield, WVA; brother in law, Joe Brown(Joyce) of Angier.
