Jamie Carter

James Charles “Jamie”  Carter, Sr. 47, of Mount Gilead passed away, Monday afternoon, June 28, 2021 at First Health Rockingham.  

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, July 2, 2021 at Little River United Methodist Church.  Rev. Lemuel Hardison will officiate.  Interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00PM-8:00PM, Thursday evening, July 1, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Home in Mount Gilead.  

Jamie was born January 12, 1974 in Tifton, GA to the late James Thomas Carter and Barbara Ann Haynes Carter of Lenox, GA.  He was a truck driver and attended Little River United Methodist Church.  

He is survived by his wife, Kristi Lynn Hutchinson Carter of the home; sons, James C. Carter “J”, II, Zackery Rafe Carter and Konner Hawk Carter all of the home; sister, Christina “Jeanna” Andrade(Michael) of Panama City, FL; father and mother in law, Steve and Terry Hutchinson of Mount Gilead.
