Charles John “Jack” Hedman, 78, of Fairfax, Virginia, passed away, Thursday November 5, 2020 at Fair Oaks Hospital.
Graveside service will be held on Saturday, November 21st, 2020 at 2:00pm at Mount Zion Church Cemetery in Norwood. Reverend David Hatley will officiate. Friends and family are welcome. Covid-19 protocols will be observed so please wear masks and practice social distancing.
Jack was born in Hartford, Connecticut to the late Robert and Ann Hedman. He was an avid sports fan, especially his beloved Boston Red Sox and UConn Huskies Women's Basketball. Jack was an esteemed and valued member of the Fairfax United Methodist Church. He is survived by his loving wife of 52 years, Caroline Blalock Hedman and son, Thomas Hedman and wife Diana of Fairfax, Virginia. In addition, he is survived by his brother, Robert Hedman and wife Joan of Bloomfield, Connecticut and sister in law, Lois Harward of Norwood and brother-in-law Wayne Blalock of Charlotte.
