Isabelle Carter

Isabelle Byrd Carter, 83, of Mt. Gilead, passed away on Wednesday, April 8, 2020 at First Health Regional in Pinehurst.

A private graveside service will be held at 11:00AM on Saturday, April, 11, 2020 at Little River United Methodist Church Cemetery. The funeral home will be open from 1:00 to 5:00PM on Friday, April 10, 2020 for anyone to pay their respects.

Ms. Carter was born on September 29, 1936 in Montgomery County to the late Lemuel and Sallie Greene Byrd.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, John Robert Carter Sr.; daughter Anita Ann Ramirez, and 8 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by her son: John R. Carter Jr. of Mt. Gilead; and her daughter: Brenda Thomas (Timothy) of Troy; Four grandsons: Christopher Hoover (Dana), Brian Hoover (Amanda), Terry Carter, and Joel Ramirez; and ten great-grandchildren.
