Irma Fitton

Irma Haub Fitton, 78, of Wadesboro, passed away Friday, February 28, 2025 at Jesse Helms Nursing Center in Monroe.

Ms. Fitton was born on August 5, 1946 in Germany to the late William and Maria Spawn Haub. She retired from C&A and also worked as a truck driver. Irma was a hard working and honest woman. She was known to always speak her mind and was very smart. She also enjoyed eating ice cream.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by a granddaughter, Paige Smith; and a sister.

She is survived by her daughter, Michelle Adams of Wadesboro and her son, Danny Fitton of Norwood; one granddaughter: Brandy Williams (Wylie); four great-grandchildren: Lucas Alexander, Isaac Alexander, Brayden Harris, and Renesmee Adams; son-in-law, John Lucky Adams; and several brothers and sisters.
