Obituary
Hilda Foreman Kimrey 85 of Oakboro died Sunday morning, January 22, 2023 at Atrium Cabarrus.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00PM Thursday, January 26, 2023 at Silver Springs Baptist Church. Rev Mark Little and Rev. Larry Coley will officiate and interment will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 6:00 until 8:00 Wednesday evening at Edwards Funeral Home of Norwood.
Hilda was born April 20, 1937 in Stanly County to the late Charles Henderson Foreman Sr. and Nellie Drye Foreman. She was a member of Silver Springs Baptist Church and a retiree of Stanly Knitting Mills.
She is survived by her son Dale Hugh Kimrey and Daughter Susan Kimrey Shaffer. One brother Junior Foreman (Glenda). Two grandsons, Cody Shaffer and Dillon Shaffer and a great-granddaughter expected in June.
She was preceded in death by six brothers and three sisters, Jim, Ted, Rayvon, Fred, Frank and Jerry Foreman, Molly Adkins, Barbara Britt and Mary Mabry.
