Helen Smith

Helen Dunn Smith 91 of Mt. Gilead died peacefully Sunday Afternoon, July 12, 2020 at her daughters home surrounded by her family.

Graveside Services will be held at 11:00AM Tuesday, July 14, 2020 at Sharon Cemetery. Rev. Chip McAulay will officiate.

Mrs. Smith was born May 21, 1929 in Montgomery County to the late Lonnie and Mary Brooks Dunn. She was a member of Mt. Gilead First Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Ray Donald “Don” Smith Sr. her brother Ralph Dunn and her sister Brenda Dunn Dennis.

She is survived by her three children Mary Esther Cotton, Ray D. Smith Jr and M. Lynn Smith. One brother, Neal Dunn and one sister, Shirley Dunn Maness. Eight Grandchildren, Sixteen Great-Grandchildren and Eight Great-Great-Grandchildren.
