Gerald Carpenter

Gerald “Skully” Carpenter, 63, of Claremont, NC died Wednesday, September 2, 2020 at his home.

Graveside services will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, September 5, 2020 at Bennettsville AME Zion Church Cemetery in Norwood. 

Gerald was born April 4, 1957 in Trenton, New Jersey to the late Clarence D and Virginia Brewer Carpenter.  He was last employed with Lexington Home Brand in Hickory. 

He is survived by his son, Gerald Woodall Carpenter; daughters, Kerris Woodall Carpenter and LaMisha Carpenter Encalade; step daughters, Tonya Tolson and Tameka Brooks; four brothers, Philip Carpenter, Clarence Carpenter, Timothy Carpenter and Vincent Carpenter; four sisters, Nadine Carpenter Alford, Theresa Carpenter, Loretta Carpenter and Tina Marie Carpenter Smith; several grand children and great-grandchildren.
