Geneva Rice

Geneva Frick Rice 91 of Albemarle died Sunday Evening, February 9, 2020 at Trinity Place.

Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM Wednesday, February 12, 2020 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. David Howard will officiate and interment will follow in Bethlehem Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mrs. Rice was born September 15, 1928 in Stanly County to the late Adolphus and Ella Barringer Frick. She was a homemaker and a member of Bethlehem Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Albert Rice, her son Roderick Rice and 12 brothers and sisters.

She is survived by two grandchildren and three great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly and the Uwharries, 960 N. First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
