Francis Jones

Francis Decatur Jones, 69, of Raleigh, passed away Thursday November 14, 2019 at First Health in Troy.

Graveside services will be held at 3:00PM on Sunday, November 17, 2019 at Sharon Cemetery in Mt. Gilead. Rev. Chip McAulay will officiate.

Mr. Jones was born on October 22, 1950 in Richmond County to the late Decatur and Virginia Webb Jones.  He retired from Brady Trane Company and was a member at St. Mark’s Episcopal Church in Raleigh.

He is survived by his three brothers: Doug Jones and wife Kay of Albemarle, Dr. Philip Jones and wife Quindolyn of Mt. Gilead, and Craig Jones and wife Lisa of Troy; two nephews: Kenneth Jones and wife Susan of Indian Trail and Graham Jones and girlfriend Gabby of Raleigh; one niece Ashlea Wright of Charlotte; and two great-nieces: Lily Grace Jones and Daisy Lauren Jones.
