Faith Lennox Summers

Faith Lennox Summers, 93, of Charlotte, North Carolina, passed away peacefully on Saturday, January 31, 2026.

Faith was born on September 29, 1932 in Providence, Rhode Island to the late Harold Eugene and Lillian Erickson Lennox. 

She was proceeded in death by her parents, her brother, Gene Lennox, and her beloved husband of 51 years, Jeff Richard Summers, Jr, formerly of Fort Worth Texas.

Faith held a lifelong love for the ocean spending childhood summers at her grandmother‘s home in Jamestown, Rhode Island and later creating treasured memories at her home in Litchfield Beach South Carolina. Faith enjoyed needle point, reading, volunteering and her friends. She also loved playing games and cards with family and friends. Bridge with her late husband and their lively circle of friends were among her favorite pass times. Faith was a faithful and devoted member of Providence Baptist Church, where her life of service and fellowship reflected her deep faith. 

Faith is survived by her son Jeff Richard “Rick” Summers III and his wife Kay of Charlotte, North Carolina, her daughter Jill Summers Nunnally and husband Talbot of Atlanta Georgia. She also leaves behind five cherished grandchildren, Lilly Nunnally of New York, New York, Charlie Nunnally and Bailey Nunnally, both of Atlanta, Georgia Meredith Summers of Durham, North Carolina and Anna Summers of Birmingham, Alabama. 

A private family memorial service will be held at Providence Baptist Church.
