Everett James

Everett Dale James, 22, of Lexington, passed away Saturday, May 6, 2023. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, May 12, 2023 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Mr. James was born on June 28, 2000 in Cabarrus County to Lisa Tarlton Ramsey and Chad Everett James. He was a 2018 graduate of Central Cabarrus High School.

Everett enjoyed song writing and making music. He loved to fish, hunt, and watch sports, especially Cam Newton. Everett loved the Lord and his family.

He is preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Jerrel and Judy James.

He is survived by his mother, Lisa Ramsey (Bryan) of Norwood and father Chad James; brother: Chase Tarlton; maternal grandparents Larry Tarlton Sr. (Donna) and Judy Griffin; uncle Larry Tarlton Jr.; step-grandparents, Tom and Ann Ramsey; and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends.
