Emily Edwards

Emily Lee Edwards, 75, of Wadesboro, passed away Tuesday afternoon, December 14, 2021 in Carolinas Pines Regional Medical Center in  Hartsville, SC.

A graveside service will be held at 2:00PM, Friday, December 17, 2021 at Red Hill Baptist Church in Polkton, NC.  Rev. Don Thompson will officiate.  The family will receive friends following the service at the graveside. The family will gather at the home of her daughter, Rhonda.  

Emily was born February 7, 1946 in Anson County to the late Guy and Maggie Preslar Lee. She was a member of Rocky River Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl David Edwards.

She is survived by her son, Alan Edwards and her daughter, Rhonda Housley both of Wadesboro; her grandchildren, Brooklyn Housley(Zack) and Ashlyn Housley; one great grandson, Phoenix;  her brother, William Lee and her sister, Becky Lee Davis(Alan) both of Polkton; her nephew, Jeffrey Lee(Amy) and their daughters, Allison(Jordan) and Kasey.
