Eddie Britt

Knox Edward “Eddie” Britt Jr., 73, of Mt. Gilead passed away on Tuesday, July 21, 2026 at his home.

A funeral service will be held on Saturday, July 25, 2026 at 12:00 PM at Community Full Gospel Church, 12547 US Hwy 52 S in Norwood. Pastor Mike Lisk will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior in the church.

Eddie was born on May 20, 1953 to the late Knox Edward Britt Sr. and Sarah Dalton Britt. He owned and operated Britt Floor Covering in High Point. Eddie spent many years serving the lord and preaching the gospel. His ministry took him all over the world to deliver God’s word. He was a loyal and faithful follower of Christ. 

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by three sisters.

He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Debbie Kiser Britt of the home, their four children: Nick Cranford, Michelle Simmons (Randy), Brantie Britt, and Angel Britt, four brothers and one sister, six grandchildren, and 12 great-grandchildren.
