Earlene Lee

Earlene Tucker Lee 85 of Oakboro died Monday, December 12, 2022 at her home.

Memorial Services will be held at 11:00AM Wednesday, December 14, 2022 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel of Norwood. Rev. Jeff Springer will officiate. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the funeral home.

Earlene was born May 18, 1937 in Stanly County to the late William Travis and Odie Greene Tucker. She was a 1955 graduate of Oakboro High School and a longtime member of Big Lick Baptist Church.

She was a loving Wife, Mother and Grandmother and was devoted to her church and church family.She loved to read and enjoyed traveling with her husband and especially enjoyed the beach.

She was preceded in death by her husband Roy James Lee, a son, Roy James Lee Jr. Brothers and sisters, Ruby Williams, Bruce Tucker, Dewey Tucker, Claude Tucker and Ann Motley.

She is survived by her children, Brenda Lee of Oakboro, Ronald Lee and wife Janet of Troy and Dale Lee and wife Cathy of Oakboro. One sister, Mildred Hathcock of Oakboro. Four grandchildren Michael Morrison, Travis Lee, Daniel Lee and Tiffany Jackson. One great grandson, Mason Jackson.

The family wilshes to express special thanks to Dena, Angela, Sherry and Crystal of Hospice of Stanly and the Uwharries for their loving care.
