Dr. Dorinda Wynter-Mitchell El

Dr. Dorinda Wynter-Mitchell El, 52, of Charlotte, died Thursday evening, March 25, 2021.

A Memorial Service will be held at 6:00 PM Monday, April 5, 2021, at Davis Ministry Group, 13331 York Center Drive, Suite D, Charlotte, NC 28278.

Dr. Dori was born February 18, 1969, in Bronx, NY, to the late Rolston and Daisy Burch Wynter. She was a member of the Davis Ministry Group.

Dr. Dori was a graduate of New York High School of Music and Art. She received her Bachelor’s Degree from the University of Dayton, her Master’s from Fayetteville State University, and her EdD from Northeastern University. Dr. Dori was a member of Alpha Kappa Alpha Sorority, Inc. She was a Business Systems Analyst for the North Carolina Administrative Office of the Courts.

She is survived by her son TyShaun Wynter of Charlotte, her brother Carl Wynter of Bronx, NY, her niece Takora Wynter of Paramus, NJ, and her nephew Tyrone Wynter of Hackensack, NJ.

She was preceded in death by a brother Teddy Wynter.
