Donnie Allen

William Donald Allen, 73, of Myrtle Beach, SC, passed away on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Grand Strand Regional Medical Center. He was born February 12, 1950, in Norwood, NC, son of the late William Green Allen and Ruth Blalock Allen. A celebration of life will be held on Friday, July 28, 2023 at 7 PM at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood. The family will receive friends from 5:00 to 7:00PM prior to the service. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his first wife, Carol Rose Allen, brother, W.C. Allen; sister, Dorothy Gibson; and step mother, Dean Allen.

Survivors include his loving wife, Connie L. Allen of Myrtle Beach, SC; one son, Brian Allen (Melinda) of Norwood, NC; one daughter, Sherri Allen (Tina) of Concord, NC; sister-in-law, Judy Allen; brother-in-law, Bruce Gibson; grandchildren, Drew Allen, Weston Allen, Landon Allen, Jackson Yandle and Emma Yandle; many nieces and nephews and special friends, Jim and Karen Huntley.
