Don Joiner, age 73, passed away at his home in Greensboro.
Don was born to the late Donald Earl Joiner and Barbara Joiner on April 12, 1951 in Jacksonville, Florida.
Don graduated from South Stanly High School in 1969. Don spent 4 years in the Navy serving in various locations, including a tour in Vietnam. He had a career in respiratory therapy and the heart catherization lab in Moses Cone Hospital in Greensboro, from which he retired.
Don loved music and playing guitar with friends.
He leaves two sisters: Sherry Harward (Byron) and Debra Brown (John), nephews Chris Brown (Olivia), Matt Thompson (Kelly) and niece Kelly Caudle (Dustin), along with four great nephews, and two great nieces. There will be a private service at a later date.
