Diana Jean Dean, 72, of Indian Trail, passed away early Wednesday morning, January 15, 2025 at Atrium Pineville.
Funeral services will be held at 1:00 pm, Sunday, January 19, 2025 at Randall by the River, Norwood, NC. Rev. Hanna Barlow will officiate and burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends and family in the church fellowship hall following the service.
Diana was born July 24, 1952 in Weston, West Virginia to the late Eugene French Marsh and Ruth Ann Butcher Marsh. Her father was killed in the Korean war when she was a tiny baby.
Ruth Ann married Arphard Lawrence (Larry) Dennison, and they are now both deceased. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brother, Larry Dennison, her first husband, Paul Joe Barnosky and her husband, Darrell Earl Dean.
She is survived by her sister, Karen Cox(David) of Norwood; children, Lori Hites(Bob), Robert Dean(June) and Ronald Dean(Pam); 6 grandchildren and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was employed all her adult life in different Logistics Management type positions and enjoyed her work.
Diana loved her Schnauzers and over the years she was lucky to have Schultz, Hogan, Beau, Toby and Roscoe.
