Dawson Eli Lowder Reed, 20, beloved child of God, passed away on Saturday, April 9, 2022 at his residence in Gaylord, Michigan.
Dawson was born February 5, 2002, to the late Alice (Lowder) Hill in Norwood, North Carolina, where he resided with his grandparents, Eli and Shirley Lowder. On June 24, 2015, he was adopted by Dan and Kathy Reed of Concord, North Carolina.
Dawson loved hunting, fishing, animals, and being outdoors. He was kind-hearted and a hard worker.
In addition to his parents, Dawson is survived by his sisters, Myranda Reed, Kati Mullenberg (Tom Pevan), and Kaitlyn Brantley; grandmother, Shirley Lowder; grandfather, Dayton Reed; and grandmother, Jo Ann Fenlon.
Dawson was preceded in death by his grandfather, Eli Lowder; grandmother, Eileen Reed; grandfather, Gale Fenlon; and birthmother, Alice (Lowder) Hill.
Private family memorial services will be held in Wisconsin and North Carolina. His final resting place will be at the Mt. Zion United Methodist Church Cemetery in North Carolina.
