David Orlin Taylor, 86, of Leesville, South Carolina passed away Sunday, August 18th at the home of his daughter Joni Iglesias.

David Taylor was born in Pleasant Garden, Guilford County on December 10th of 1937 to the late Bascom Taylor and Molly Weatherly Taylor. David retired from Pennington Grain and Seed after 40+ years of serving as a salesman. He was normally found enjoying the outdoors, listening to some beach music, or cracking a joke.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by Maureen G Taylor, his loving wife of 52 years, and his siblings Stella Klinefelter (John), Jimmy Taylor, Peggy Woolard (Joe), Richard Taylor, and son-in-law Fernando R Iglesias.

He is survived by his children Penny T Simpson (Wayne), Wendy T Barnhardt (Eddie), Joni T Iglesias, and Brian Taylor (Melissa).
