David Ray Nash, 52, of Albemarle passed away Tuesday afternoon, October 22, 2024.
A gathering of friends will be held Saturday, October 26, 2024 from 5:00pm to 7:00pm at the family home.
David was born May 6, 1972 in Cabarrus County to the late Delma Ray and Betty Jo Bost Nash. He was an employee of Quenby Auto Center. David loved his family, especially his girls!! He enjoyed being outside fishing and hunting, but really enjoyed shooting his gun. He taught his girls to shoot and the story goes that they are a pretty good shot! Being around family and friends, playing cards or just fellowshipping were things that made him happy. He had a wonderful sense of humor and was loved by lots of people. David enjoyed visiting Bulldogs in Albemarle for a good helping of chicken wings and the friendship of the staff. He believed in supporting his country and wanted you to know he was a true Republican.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Bobby Nash.
He is survived by his loving wife, Rene Nash of the home; daughters, Emili Butler(Jacob) of Albemarle and Britney Nash(Heidi Smith) of Denton; two grandchildren, Jace Butler and Bryce Clemons; brothers. Billy Nash(Rhonda) and Ronnie Nash; sister, Teresa Adams(Carson); numerous nieces and nephews; his special canine companion, Allie Rae.
