David Gardner

David Bryant Gardner, 92, of Mount Gilead passed away early Tuesday morning, November 12, 2024.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM,  Friday November 15, 2024 at Hamer Creek Baptist Church.  Pastor Rupert Medford will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Gardner was born January 30, 1932 in Montgomery County to the late Bryant and Bessie Dunn Gardner.  He was a retiree of Montgomery County Schools and a member of Hamer Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters, Frank,  Doc and Clyde Gardner; Betty Byrd, Verna Mae Deaton, Jeanie Belle Robbins, Thelma Gardner, Polly Dunn and Montie Hoover.

He is survived by his wife, Louise Brock Gardner; children by love, Wayne Richardson(Marty), Parnell Richardson(Michelle), Tony Richardson, Ann Cranford(Harold), Jean Cranford(June), Kathy Smith(Lynn); 12 grandchildren and 24 great-grandchildren.
