Clyde Luther

Clyde Craylon Luther, 71, of Norwood, passed away Tuesday morning, June 1, 2021 at Atrium Stanly.

A private family service will be held Thursday, June 3, 2021.  Family and friends are welcome to pay their respects at the home of Clyde’s sister, Becky Blalock.

Clyde was born February 19, 1950 in Stanly County to the late Shellam and Dorothy Burris Luther.  He was a graduate of Bowman High School and was a truck driver.  He was a member of Wightman Methodist Church.  

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, James Elbert Luther.

Clyde is survived by his son, Michael Luther of Concord and grand daughter, Sadie Michaela White; sisters, Frances Luther Webb and husband, Riley and Becky Luther Blalock all of Norwood; sister in law, Donna Luther; numerous nieces and nephews.  

Memorials may be made to:  The American Cancer Society or to a charity of the donor’s choice.
