Charles Lefler

Charles Henry Lefler, 73, of Albemarle, passed away Saturday, April 20, 2024 at his home. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, April 24, 2024 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Interment will follow at Norwood Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM to 2:00 PM prior to the service. 

Mr. Lefler was born on January 2, 1951 in Stanly County to the late Robert Benjamin and Ludie Gallimore Lefler. He retired from Collins and Aikman after close to 40 years and was a member of First United Methodist Church in Norwood. Charles was a kind and good hearted soul and was always willing to help anyone in need. He was a devoted and loving son to his parents. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings, Betty Earnhardt, Peggy Taylor, and James Lefler. 

He is survived by his loving wife, Margaret Andrews Lefler of the home; one son, Justin Lefler of Albemarle; and special nephew, Jerry Earnhardt (Karen).
