Charles Jones

Henry Charles Jones 75 of Mt. Gilead died Wednesday Morning, September 18, 2019 at Hinkle Hospice House in Lexington.

Funeral Services will be held at 11:00AM Saturday, September 21, 2019 at Porter Baptist Church. Rev. Alex Willoughby will officiate and interment will follow in Sharon Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:30 until 11:00 Saturday Morning at the church.

Mr. Jones was born September 28, 1943 in Gaffney S.C. to the late Henry Guy and Minnie Thomas Jones and was a retiree of Jordan Lumber Company.

He was preceded in death by his wife Pamela Hammel Jones and a daughter Lisa Ann Jones.

He is survived by his daughter Donna Jones Richardson and husband Flynn of Norwood. Three grandchildren Marina Richardson Shankle and husband Daniel, Andrew Flynn Richardson and wife Chelsey and Kayleigh Richardson Huneycutt and husband Steven and one great-grandaughter, Kadence Ivy Huneycutt. One brother, James Robert Jones of South Carolina.
