Catherine Mauldin Bowles

Catherine Mauldin Bowles 88 of Mt. Gilead died Saturday Afternoon, April 28, 2018 at First Health Moore Regional Hospital in Pinehurst.

Funeral Services will be held at 4:00 PM Friday, May 4, 2018 at Little River United Methodist Church. Rev. Jason Lutz and Rev. David Peitz will officiate and burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Bowles was born November 23, 1929 in Montgomery County to the late Arthur and Sarah Walker Mauldin. She was a homemaker and a member of Exway Baptist Church.

She was preceded in death by her husband Reid Bowles, her son, David Bowles and two grandchildren, Matthew Bowles and Kimberly Dawn Bowles.

She is survived by her daughter Patricia Mabry of Ellerbe and her son Don Bowles of the home. Four grandchildren, Taber Mongero, Maris Mongero, Tyler Mabry and Eric Dixon and one great-grandchild.
