Linda Carol Simpson Hathcock, 72, of Albemarle, passed away Monday, September 20, 2021 at Atrium Health Stanly.
The family will receive friends from 12:00 to 1:00PM on Thursday, September 23, 2021 at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood.
Mrs. Hathcock was born on February 2, 1949 in Stanly County to the late Beverly Webster and Margie Hudson Simpson. She worked for The Lutheran Home as a caretaker for many years.
In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her brothers, Willie Simpson and Delano Simpson and sister Martha Kay Hough.
She is survived by her husband, Edward Glover Hathcock of the home; four brothers, Tony Simpson, Darol Simpson (Libby), Mitchell Simpson, Lewis Simpson and Bobby Simpson; and her mother-in-law, Lillie Ingram.
