Carol Byrd

Carol Ann Ware Byrd, 78, of Mt. Gilead, passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Saturday, April 27, 2024 at Haywood Cemetery in Mt. Gilead.

Carol was born on June 11, 1945 in Ridgeland, SC to the late Jack Haywood and Mildred Hall Ware. She was a retired Nurse and a member at Calvary Baptist Church. In her free time, she enjoyed shopping and spending time with her family. She loved the Lord. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her sister, Myrtis Jarman; and brother-in-law, Bub Jarman. 

She is survived by her nieces and nephews: Cyndi Akins (Kevin) and Steve Jarman (Wendy); and great-nieces and nephews: Nathan Jarman (Haleigh), Joseph Jarman, Andrew Jarman, Sarah Jarman, and Mollie Akins Reza (Macario).
