Obituary
Brenda Ballard Mabry, 81, of Albemarle, passed away peacefully, surrounded by her loving family, on Thursday, April 20, 2023 at Tucker Hospice House.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Tuesday, April 25, 2023 at Bethel Baptist Church Cemetery in Mt. Gilead. The family will receive friends on Monday evening, from 6:00 to 8:00 PM at Edwards Funeral home in Mt. Gilead.
Mrs. Mabry was born on August 13, 1941 to the late Harold and Winnifred Shaw Ballard in Randolph County. She was Norwood High School graduate and a member at Prospect Baptist Church. Brenda was a faithful Christian. She loved the Lord and her family, and enjoyed being a wife, mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her son, Bart Lee.
She is survived by her loving husband of 27 years, Rev. Jerry Martin Mabry of the home; daughter Wanda Maness of Wadesboro; grandchildren: Shonda Stafford, and Michael Maness (Jordan), Tyler Estrada, Jhase Estrada, and Sarah Bentley; great-grandchildren: Jon Maness, Ford Maness, and Briceton Stafford, Gavin, Garrett, and Fran Lomax, and Willow Estrada; Daughter-in-law: Anita Conklin Lee, step-children: Neil Mabry and Julie Hunt; brothers and sisters: Linda King, Beth Cagle, Janice Ridenhour, and Wayne Ballard.
