Bradley Hinson Obituary

Bradley David Hinson, age 39, of Chester, VA, passed away on Sunday, June 9, 2024. Born in Concord, NC, Bradley lived a life full of passion, generosity, and dedication to his family, friends, and community.

Bradley graduated from South Stanly High School in 2002, and from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte in 2014, where he earned his BFA in International Studies and German. An avid musician, Bradley could play any instrument he encountered, sharing his love of music with all who knew him. His talent and enthusiasm for music were a constant source of joy and inspiration.

Bradley worked as a Contract Specialist for the government, where his meticulous attention to detail and commitment to excellence were highly regarded. He was also known for his unwavering commitment to helping others, especially at work where he made significant efforts to improve accessibility for visually impaired employees. His kindness and dedication touched the lives of many, leaving a lasting impact on those he helped.

In addition to his musical talents and professional contributions, Bradley was an active member of the Tri-Cities Jiu-Jitsu Club in Colonial Heights, VA. His dedication to the sport and his teammates was evident in every practice. Bradley was also a lifelong philomath, passionate about traveling, speaking new languages, and experiencing the world. His curiosity and love for new adventures enriched his life and the lives of those around him.

He leaves behind his loving wife of eight years, Kylie Hinson, their son, Leo Hinson, and his daughter, McKenzie Snyder. He is also survived by his parents: father David Hinson and his wife Barbara, and mother Patricia Frick and her husband, Keith; sister Brooke Motes and her husband, Shane; his niece, Bailey; and nephew Jacob.

Bradley’s vibrant spirit, kindness, and generosity will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

A graveside celebration of life will be held on Saturday June 29, 2024 at 10:00 AM at Randall by the River in Norwood. The family will receive friends in the church fellowship hall following the service.
