Bobby Efird

Bobby Allen Efird,68, of Albemarle, passed away Sunday, November 16, 2025 at his home. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM on Friday, November 21, 2025 at Edwards Funeral Home, with Pastor Warren Brown officiating. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. 

Mr. Efird was born on May 29, 1957 in Rowan County to the late Wayne Leverne Efird and Alma West Broadway, who survives. He was a retired Truck Driver. Bobby loved his animals, especially his dog Sandy, and he loved to fish. 

In addition to his father, Wayne Efird, he is preceded in death by his wife, Sheila Burleson Efird; and brother Rickey Efird; and sister-in-law, Sonya Efird 

In addition to his mother, Alma Efird, he is survived by his brothers: Rodney Efird (Vickie) and Jeff Efird (Marisa); his sister: Pam Jefferies (Cliff);  nieces: Tina Matthews (Jesse) and Christy Gilbert (Jeff); and his canine companion, Sandy; and numerous nieces, nephews, and great-nieces and nephews.
