Bobbie Elaine Troublefield Burleson, of Albemarle, NC passed away Thursday night, July 1, 2021 at her home.
Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM Tuesday, July 6, 2021 at Prospect Baptist Church in Albemarle. Rev. Stoney Benfield and Rev. Darrell Huneycutt will officiate and interment will follow in Prospect Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45, prior to the service at the church.
Bobbie was born January 7, 1946 to the late Willie and Tishie Earnhardt Troublefield. She was the loving wife and sweetheart to Michael Ray Burleson for 58 years. The Godly mother of the late Michael Todd Burleson(Natalie), Kimberly Smith(Terry), Scott Burleson(Missy), and Jennifer Almond(Brian).
The wonderful Mawmaw to Austin(Alexis) Burleson, Joshua Smith, Dylan(Hannah) Burleson, Mandy(Ryan) Summerlin, Christian Burleson(Liv), Tyler(Emily) Black, Zach Mayo(Maddie), Noah(Carly) Black, Mary Claire(Kevin), Matthew Burleson, Jackson Burleson, and Caleb Smith.
The adoring great-grandma to Charlie Burleson, Reid Summerlin, Ada Mullis, Ava Summerlin, and Addie Black, and her beloved dog, Coco.
She was a member of Prospect Baptist Church.
Bobbie was the true example of a Proverbs 31 Woman in everything that she did. Her sweet spirit, and smile would light up a room, and leave everyone at ease with her loving ways.
She worked as a home health and hospice nurse for Cabarrus and Stanly County before her retirement.
Through the years of failing health, she never stopped loving her family and friends and most importantly her Savior, Jesus Christ.
