Blanche Frix

Blanche McKinnon Frix, 94, of Mt. Gilead passed away on Wednesday, July 19, 2023 at Forrest Oakes in Albemarle.

A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Monday, July 24, 2023 at Wadeville Baptist Church Cemetery. Lynn Hough will officiate. 

Mrs. Frix was born on August 6, 1928 in Montgomery County to the late Luther and Ethel McKinnon. She was a member at Wadeville Methodist Church. 

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband, George Washington Frix; brothers, Johnny, Vernon and Bobby McKinnon; sisters, Kathleen Coble, Lois Herrin, and Pansy McKinnon.

She is survived by her daughter, Patsy Frix Rumple of Mount Gilead and niece Katie Ruth Hough of Lancaster, SC; and other numerous nieces, nephews, and cousins.
