Betty Lou Honeycutt

Betty Lou Honeycutt  passed away April 27, 2023 at Forrest Oaks Healthcare Center in Albemarle, NC at the age of 93. 

A graveside funeral service will be held Sunday, April 30, 2023 at 3:00 PM at Norwood Cemetery. Dr. Craig Scott will officiate.

Ms. Honeycutt was born July 5, 1929 to the late John David and Ila Mae Little Honeycutt. She worked in the textile industry at Collins and Aikman for 40 years. 

Betty is preceded in death by her parents, sisters: Evelyn “Sis” Hopkins, and Nellie Thorpe. She is survived by her nephews: John Hopkins, and Toby Thorpe and wife Kathy, and niece: Amy Edwards and husband Tommy. 

The family would like to extend a heartfelt “Thank you” to the staff of Forrest Oaks, and Hospice of Stanly and the Uwharries.
