Betty Poplin

Betty Lowe Poplin 81 of Norwood died Saturday morning at Forrest Oakes Helathcare.

Private graveside services will be held at White Crest Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Ken McRae will officiate. Mrs Poplin will lie in state Monday from 2:00 until 5:00 and Tuesday from 9:00 until 1:00 where friends are welcome to pay their respects.

Betty was born June 15, 1940 in Montgomery County to the late Joseph Curtis and Alice Sasser Lowe. She was a 1958 graduate of Mt. Gilead High School and a member of White Crest Baptist Church. She was a retiree of Wisscassett.

She was preceded in death by her husband Steve Wesley Poplin.

She is survived by two daughters, Mary Darlene Garza (Jesus) of Charlotte and Lydia Dawn Page (David) of Badin. One sister, Debbie Lowe Morris (Phil) of Norwood. Four grandchildren, Angel Seppelt (Martin), Chad Page (Cheyenne), Christian Page and Jonathan Garza
