Benny Vaughan

John Benjamin ‘Benny’ Vaughan, 29, of Albemarle, passed away Sunday, January 22, 2023 at his home.

A celebration of life will be held at 2:00PM on Monday, January 30, 2023 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. Rev. Mike Lisk will offciate and the family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Benny was born on February 24, 1993 in Mecklenburg County to Scott and Niki Abernethy Vaughan. He was a machine operator with Boggs Contracting. Benny loved hunting, fishing, and hanging out with friends. He was a laid back soul that will be missed by all that knew and loved him. 

He is preceded in death by his maternal grandparents: Ferris and Susie Abernethy. 

In addition to his parents, he is survived by his fiance’, Kristina Jones of the home; daughter, Skylynn Vaughan; sister: Hannah Vaughan; brother, Maxwell Vaughan; and paternal grandparents: John and Bonnie Vaughan.
