Benjy Edwards

Hubert Benjamin “Benjy” Edwards, 69, of Mocksville passed away on Tuesday, April 8, 2025.

A memorial service will be held on Sunday, April 13, 2025 at 2:00 PM at Edwards Funeral Home in Norwood. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service.

Benjy was born on September 22, 1955 to the late Hubert Beagle and Lucy Geneva Edwards. He graduated from Bowman High School in the class of 1973 and worked as a truck driver. 

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his siblings: Leon Edwards, Don Edwards, and Jean Webb.

He is survived by his wife, Teresa Caudle Edwards, of the home, two children: Robbie Edwards (Kelly) of Hillsborough, Brandi Edwards (Fulton) of Aquadale, two step-children: Nathan Pardue (Bailey) of Hays, and Emily Pardue (DJ) of Yadkinville, two sisters: Vivian Talbert of Albemarle, and Miriam Evans of New London, and eight grandchildren: Zack Armet, Kael Edwards, Kora Edwards, Corde Gray, Shylan Gray, Peyton Church, Maggie Pardue, and Sawyer Pardue.
