Relous Beemer Williams, 92, of Matthews, passed away, October 7, 2023 at Carrington Place in Matthews.
A memorial service will be held in the coming weeks.
Mr. Williams was born March 15, 1931 in Union County to the late Jacob Relous and Beulah Estelle Simpson Williams. He was a retired television repairman and was a member of Canaan Baptist Church.
He enjoyed restoring vintage cars and trucks. He was a lifetime member of Charlotte Hornets Antique Car Club. He could build, fix, and grow anything. He was the best Dad, Husband, Pawpaw ever. He will be truly missed. He is happy now in Heaven with Mom (Doris). Love and Hugs to all of our family that have gone before us. Until we meet again. . .
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Doris Williams; grandson, Aaron Griffin.
He is survived by his son, Lynn Williams; daughter, Susan Wallace(Lewis); grandchildren, Chad Squires, Brian Griffin(Miranda), Van Williams(Jackie), Michelle Johnson and Dale Johnson(Beverly); great grandchildren, Jesse Squires, Aaron Squires, Adriel Griffin, Relous Williams, Eleanor Williams, Athena Williams, Cole Johnson, Ryan Eason, Chloe McMillan and Bailee Harrell.
