Avis Lefler

Avis Haithcock Lefler, 95, of Mt. Gilead, passed away surrounded by her loving family on Friday, February 24, 2023.

Funeral services will be held at a later date.

Ms. Lefler was born on March 6, 1927 in Montgomery County to the late William and Bertha Deaton Haithcock. She sold Town Craft cookware and was a member at Hamer Creek Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents she is preceded in death by her husband: Horace Lefler and siblings: Marshall, Curtis, Rob, and Harold Haithcock. 

She is survived by her daughter: Anne Kelly (Louis); granddaughter: Michelle Boone (Mike); great-granddaughter: MaKayla Boone, all of Mt. Gilead.
