Arnold Smith

Arnold Wade Smith 65 of Albemarle died Tuesday Afternoon, August 27, 2019 at his home.

A Celebration of Arnold’s Life will be held on Saturday, November 23, 2019 at The Lodge at Morrow Mountain State Park: 47104 Morrow Mountain Road Albemarle, NC 28001. The family will receive from 3:00 to 4:00PM followed by a time of celebration, refreshments, and friendship.

Arnold was born December 31, 1953 in Stanly County to the late Estell Smith and Patsy Britt Smith who survives of Norwood. He was former pastor of Rock Fellowship Church.

In addition to his mother he is survived by his wife Tonja Stogner Smith of the home. One daughter Shana Fore (Cameron) and their son Ethan of Wake Forrest. Larry Dewayne Blalock and his family that Arnold loved like a son as well as many other sons and daughters of the faith that Arnold loved deeply. Two sisters, Julia Smith Biles and Diane Tucker (Robert) all of Norwood. Three nieces and one nephew.
