Anna Gaddy

Anna Elizabeth Gaddy, 41, passed away, Tuesday evening, March 11, 2025 at Levine-Dickson Hospice House.

A graveside service will be held Friday, March 14, 2025 at 5:00PM at Bethlehem Cemetery in Ansonville.  Mr. Ken Caulder will officiate.  

Anna was born January 2, 1984 in Stanly County to the late Bobby Neil Gaddy and Sheila Thompson Drake.  She was a 2002 graduate of South Stanly High School and 2006 graduate of UNC Charlotte.  She was an elementary school teacher having taught at Norwood Elementary and Aquadale Elementary School.  

Anna was a full of life person!  She was vibrant, bubbly, and most of all  caring.  Her bright and colorful personality will be remembered by her friends and her former students.  She never met a stranger and greeted most people with a big hug!  She loved her fur babies and all animals. Anna was a strong independent young woman and loyal friend.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her paternal grandparents, John Frank and Helen Gaddy; maternal grandparents Bill and Edith Thompson.

She is survived by her children, Bryson Curlee, Harper Lashua and Hadley Lashua; uncles, Billy Thompson(Renee) and Scott Thompson; stepfather, Garry Drake; special cousin, Stacy Gaddy and wife, Lynn and a circle of close friends.
