Ann Livingston Hudson, 90, of Norwood, passed away peacefully on Friday, July 10, 2026 at Trinity Place in Albemarle.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 AM on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 at Cottonville Baptist Church. Pastor JR Murr, AD Hudson, and Nicholas Helms will officiate. The family will receive friends from 10:00 to 11:00 AM in the sanctuary prior to the service.
Ms. Hudson was born on March 12, 1936 in Stanly County to the late James Thomas and Essie Whitley Livingston. She retired from C&A as a spinner after over 35 years. She was a member of Cottonville Baptist Church where she taught the 6-9 year old Sunday School class for many years. Ann loved to cook and bake for her friends and family. She was known for her ‘Cooks Corner’ selection in the Stanly News and Press every week for over 25 years.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Ralph Hudson; son Ashely Hudson; and her siblings: Kelly Livingston and Elaine Mauldin.
She is survived by her daughter, Sandra Helms (Greg) of Norwood; daughter-in-law, Cindy Hudson of Norwood; grandchildren: Nicholas Helms (Jacki) and A.D. Hudson (Suzannah Brown); two great-grandchildren: Eva Claire and Susanna Helms; and sister: Jacqueline Harkey.
