Tony Cox Obituary

Tony Michael Cox 54 of Norwood died Sunday, February 11, 2018 at his home.

Private Graveside Services will be held at Norview Gardens. The family will receive friends at the residence 10708 Willow Oak Road, Norwood, NC 28128.

Tony was born March 24, 1963 in Greenville County, South Carolina to Paul Edward and Charlotte Burrell Cox who survive of Norwood. He was an employee of Little’s Pipe at Charlotte Plastics. He had a great passion for music especially the Drum’s. He was known as “The Drummer Man” to his many friends.

In addition to his parents he is survived by his daughters, Brittany Hollingsworth of Columbia, SC, Lacie Lybrand (Carter) of Gilbert, SC, and Taylor Cox of Gaston, SC..Three grandchildren, Kylie Wingard Cox, Corbin Lybrand and Kathryn Lybrand.

He was preceded in death by his sister, Paula Cox Peters.
