Tom David Poplin

Tom David Poplin 75 of Oakboro died Friday Morning, July 14, 2017 at his home.

A memorial service will be held at 11:00AM, Saturday, July 29, 2017 at Aquadale Baptist Church.  Rev. Jimmy Hudson will officiate.

Tom David was born September 17, 1941 in Stanly County. He was a son of the late Tom Alexander and Sarah Elizabeth Poplin. He was a retired Tile Contractor and a US Army Veteran and was a member of Aquadale Baptist Church.

He is survived by his wife Susan P. Poplin of the home. His son and daughter-in-law Tony and Rene Poplin of Oakboro. His brother James R. Poplin of Albemarle and his sister Julia P. Morton of Kershaw, SC. Two grandchildren, Alexandra and Matthew Poplin.

Memorials may be made to Hospice of Stanly and the Uwharrie 960 North First Street, Albemarle, NC 28001.
