Ted Evans Davis

Ted Evans Davis, 68, of Albemarle, passed away Thursday, February 21, 2019.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00PM on Saturday, February 23, 2019 at Edwards Funeral Home Chapel. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service. Burial will follow at a later date at the National Cemetery in Salisbury.

Mr. Davis was born in Iredell County on December 31, 1950 to the late Elvin Park Davis and Frances Christine Horne. He was a US Army Veteran and served in Vietnam. After his service, he worked as a roofer in the construction industry. He was a member at Community Full Gospel.

In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his son, Jonathan Mark Davis.

He is survived by his wife, Linda Wilhoit Davis of the home; son Michael Davis (Trinida Rapadas) of Albemarle; daughter: Kerry Davis Gordon of Albemarle; three grandchildren: Sierra Gordon, Gabriel Gordon, and Jonathan Washington; one brother: Hollis Davis of Norwood; and one sister: Pamela Davis Ridenhour of Richfield.
