Ted Chappell

Ted Chappell 87 of Mt. Gilead died Thursday evening, November 14, 2019 at Monroe Rehabilitation Center in Monroe.

Graveside Service will be held at 2:00 PM Monday, November 18, 2019 at Exway Baptist Church Cemetery. Rev. Tony Hancox and Rev. James Johnson will officiate.

Mr. Chappell was born March 21, 1932 in Richmond County to the late Frank and Mary Ella Ewing Chappell. He was a retiree of Collins and Aikman in Albemarle.

He is survived by his wife Ann Kiser Chappell of the home. One step-son Steve Thompson of Mt. Gilead.

He was preceded in death by his brothers and sisters Clarence, Alfred, Everett, Mary Belle, Sarah, Gertrude and Margaret. Three step-sons, Ricky, Ron and Doug Thompson.
